This is a free tool that formats your own payment details into a shareable page. It is not a payment service. It never touches, holds, forwards or sees any money, and it stores no data about you.
What this service is
Buy Me a Chiya takes details you type in — your name, an emoji, a price and your own wallet or bank information — and packs them into a web link. Opening that link displays a page showing those details so someone can pay you directly from their own banking or wallet app.
That is the whole service. It formats and displays information you supply. It is closer to a printed sign than to a shop.
What this service is not
- Not a payment service. We do not process, hold, transmit, escrow or refund money. No funds ever pass through us at any point.
- Not a bank, wallet or payment service provider, and not licensed as one by Nepal Rastra Bank or any other authority, because the service never comes into contact with anyone's money.
- Not an intermediary. Payments happen between the payer and the recipient inside the payer's own bank or wallet app. We are not a party to that transaction and have no record that it happened.
- Not a host. We do not store, publish or serve your page. Your page exists only inside the link you hold.
Embedding it elsewhere
You may put the card on your own website using the supplied snippet. It shows the details you entered and nothing else, and it collects nothing from your visitors. You remain responsible for the payment details it displays, exactly as you are for your own page.
Your responsibilities
- Enter only payment details for accounts you genuinely own and are entitled to receive money into.
- Check every digit before you share your link. A wrong number means money goes to someone else, and neither we nor you can reverse it.
- Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent what supporters are paying for.
- Do not use this to collect money for anything unlawful, or in any way that breaks the rules of your bank or wallet provider.
- Comply with your own tax and legal obligations on money you receive. We issue no receipts, invoices or records, and keep none.
If you are paying someone
You are sending money directly to the account shown, using your own app, on your own judgement. Confirm the recipient's name in your banking app before you approve anything. Anyone can create a page displaying any name, so treat a page as a claim, not proof. A payment sent is final; we cannot cancel, trace or refund it.
No guarantees
The tool is provided as is, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. It may be changed, moved or discontinued at any time without notice. Links may stop working if the site goes offline. Since your link is the only copy of your page, keep it somewhere safe — if you lose it, it cannot be recovered, only recreated.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any loss arising from use of this tool, including money sent to a wrong or fraudulent account, mistyped details, payments that fail or never arrive, disputes between a creator and a supporter, a lost link, or the site becoming unavailable. You use it at your own risk.
Third-party services
If you shorten your link using another company's service, or host a QR image somewhere, those services have their own terms and their own handling of your information. We have no control over and take no responsibility for them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
